The Missions Committee acts as a liaison between the congregation and the 15 local and international missionaries that Redeemer supports.

Committee Member

Be part of the leadership team coordinating missions activities. This committee oversees the mission focus of Redeemer and is critical to the mission work of the church. The committee meets at least every other month to make certain all mission activities are functioning properly.

Annual Missions Conference

Help with all aspects of the conference each year in February. The Annual Missions Conference includes everything from set up and break down for all gatherings; overseeing menus for each event; the Ladies Luncheon, Men’s Breakfast, Friday night and Sunday evening dinners. Take up a leadership role or be behind the scenes, this is a great time to really be a part and assist with the Conference.

Donations

Support local missions as well as mission trips with donations of just about anything you can imagine including supplies, clothing when necessary, food, medical supplies, etc., as donations are an integral part of Redeemer’s mission activity. It is critical that donations reach the appropriate area as designated and you could assist with this very fulfilling part of the overall Missions work of Redeemer.

Monetary Gifts

Support our many missionaries and mission groups throughout the world as well as our mission trip participants financially through Faith Promise, designated gifts, mission pledge or personally sponsoring a missionary. Since our church budget does not include designated money for missions, we rely entirely on Faith Promise to support the efforts of the missionaries and mission groups throughout the world.  Please prayerfully consider your gift and commit what you know the Lord will bless through your support.

Mission Trip

Each year Redeemer has a mission trip planned to a definite location. For this coming year, we will once again return to the Dominican Republic to install water purification systems in villages. This ministry not only assists the indigenous people with there daily needs but also ministers to them in unique ways. If you want to experience what it’s like to be a missionary then join in with the team on the next mission trip and be blessed.

Missionary Advocate

Ongoing missionary prayer and correspondence support. Our missionaries are far from home, family and friends. They need to hear from us on a routine basis. This group of volunteers will accept responsibility for periodic correspondence with individual missionaries. This group will also relay nees and news from the missionaries and possibly organize special prayer moments for the missionaries.
