John Byerly

Pastor
John is the Pastor at Redeemer and brings a tremendous speaking style and wonderful spiritual insights with each sermon. John completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas in Austin and his ministerial studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Austin Presbyterian Seminary. Before coming to Redeemer in 1993, John served churches in Arkansas and Louisiana. John is an avid tennis player and enjoys backpacking and camping. He and his wife, Lacy, have two grown sons, Stephen and Michael. Stephen is married to Christina.

Vicki Adams

Administration
Vicki has ministered in church administration and finances since 1988, and joined our staff in May, 2005. Her portfolio includes office administration, finances, computer administration and publications. She is married to Michael Adams, and has two adult children, Kristy Sullivan [our webmaster] and Matthew. Vicki enjoys cross stitch, sewing, reading, home décor projects, camping with her family, and she especially loves church choir and handbells.

Terri Manuel

Ministries Coordinator & Pastoral Assistant
Terri serves as the Ministries Coordinator & Pastoral Assistant. In this position, she is an administrative liaison between the church and the volunteer leaders of the various ministries at Redeemer Church, as well as an administrative assistant to the Senior Pastor. Terri has a B.S. in Office Administration from Georgia State University. She began this position in January, 2009, has been an active member of Redeemer Church since 1989, and formerly served as Director of our Preschool and Kindergarten for 7 years. Terri is married to Gene and has two daughters, Caitlin and Lauren.

Mary Cooper

Parish Nurse
Mary is our Parish Nurse, and also is a member of the Health and Wholeness Ministry, and a Stephen Minister. She has been a member of Redeemer since 1990, and part of our staff since 2001. Mary is involved with our healing prayer ministry, and has developed numerous support groups for our church. The health ministry team routinely provides blood pressure screenings for our members, as well as various other health opportunities. She is married to Glenn, and they have two adult children, Anna and Trace. Mary’s deepest passion is mentoring women.

Adam Jones

Youth Director
Adam grew up in the Atlanta area, and joined our staff in February, 2009. Before coming here he played drums professionally with many different artists and worship teams. He also served as youth pastor or youth staff for several large churches and has worked with several church plants and discipleship. In 2003 he married Jennifer, who is a speech language pathologist with Gwinnett County Schools. Adam’s passion is to see kids meet Jesus and learn to walk with Him.

Leah Calvin

Children's Ministry
Leah was born and reared in Washington State and educated at Central Washington University where she graduated in 2002. She is married to Christopher Calvin and has two sons, Judah and Bryce. Leah has enjoyed working with and teaching our children here at Redeemer since February of 2008.

Lyn Cooper

Director of Preschool & Kindergarten
Lyn serves as the Director of Redeemer's Preschool and Kindergarten programs. A member of Redeemer since 1994, she began as an assistant teacher in 1998, became assistant director 2002, and moved into the position of director in July, 2009. Lyn is married to Clark, and has two sons, J.D. and Tom. In her spare time she enjoys doing stained glass creations.

Becky Ball

Choir & Handbell Director
Becky has directed our “Voices of Praise” and handbell choirs since July, 2006, although she has been a member of Redeemer since 1996. She has a Music Therapy degree from Duquesne University, a Master's Degree in Special Education from the University of Georgia, and is currently pursuing her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University. Becky has extensive musical experience as a producer, studio vocalist, live performer and show conductor. She has three grown sons, Andy, Zane and John-Henry, and is married to Rocky, also a musician.

Godfrey Grannum

Worship & Praise Team Director
Born and reared in Barbados, Godfrey came to us in February, 2008, from Peachtree Presbyterian with extensive performing and worship team experience. He is married to DeKesha, and has one daughter, Kaia. He is an excellent musician with a heart for community mentoring.

Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month.
Childcare is provided through age four. A "crying room" is also available at the rear of the Sanctuary from which you may see and hear the service.
